You have to take that step of believing in order to come to the place of knowing. You've got to believe you have it before you can recieve it. Kenneth E. Hagin Autor

Do not allow your desert place to become your comfort zone. Desert place represents: temporary hiatus, weeding out time, letting spirit and soul ready itself for promise, analyzing ability, getting ready and getting rid of. Racism represents desert, not freedom. Racism has been dealt a death blow with the election of Barack Obama (President Elect). What excuse now could you continue to use for you not moving out to a land of promise? Please post you comments here.

Apostle Paul A. Southerland's Video Blog I have noticed that already as a part of the aftermath of the election of Barack Obama, there is now the argument that represents skepticism and lack of faith. The same people that said he could not be elected are now saying he will not be able to govern. For the christian, this is negating the role of faith in this whole process of electing Barack Obama as president. Our faith did not make this happen. We as a people did not dream that this would happen. This was the act of Christ which along the way bolstered faith, the impossible made possible. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrew 11:15. Where faith is lacking cynicism abounds! Instead of cynicism/ skepticism let us use the new learned faith from Obamas election and apply it to his governing or, will Christ again have to prove to us what he can do with our little/ no faith. What are your thoughts? Please post them here.
Apostle Paul Southerland's Blog II Timothy 1:7... "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." The word for "fear" in the verse above is not referring to general fear as it is commonly known. The word in the original greek language is not 'phobos' (foboV) but rather is 'deilias' (deiliaV) which means "cowardice". God has not given us a spirit of cowardice. The actual context of the words of II Timothy 1:7 refers to partaking in the difficulties of the work of sharing the good news of the free gift of salvation and not to wimp out. It was probably part of Timothy's nature to be fearful. All of God's people need to fear fear itself. God can't use fearful servants (Jud 7:3). To the preacher of old God says, "Be not afraid of their faces" (Jer 1:8). This fear is not of God! Satan must be resisted and rebuked by faith (Jas 5:7; Mt 16:23). Power (Acts 1:8; I Cor 2:3, 4). Paul could identify with Timothy for he knew fear naturally, but also power supernaturally. Sound mind (Gr soµphronismos). The word here means "disciplined" or "self-control." Or simply fear that speaks to controlling loved ones... Post your comments here.

Do you understand that your tears have power? Realizing this your tears are precious to God. The Lord bottles yours tears. Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Psalm 56:8 Please post your comments here.

In Christian living there is the foundation of the Word. Based upon this truth we're able to be obedient to God. In my blog I will make a correction on my statement that my God knows how to get money. "If you walk in obedience to the word. God has already set forth all the money you will need to have an effective witness of him." Please post your comments here.
